Zdenka Fantlova
1922-2022

In March 2022 Zdenka Fantlova celebrated her 100th birthday. At this time she was one of the few living eye-witnesses to the horror of the Holocaust, in which she lost her entire family.  The Tin Ring is her unique story of how, as a seventeen-year-old girl, she found love and inspiration which helped her to survive the horrors of six Nazi concentration camps, including Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen. Zdenka spent the rest of her life determined to share her story to ensure that this dark period in history was never forgotten. She died peacefully in November 2022.
